I never posted “The 20 Worst Hipster Bands” that included MGMT (with a shout out to tumblr) because I thought it was stupid and I just didn’t want it on my blog.  Also, it was entirely unclear whether worst was in regards to the actual musical talent, or that the higher on the list the more hipster of a band you were.  Either way, the whole article was ignorant.  Well now the dude that came up with this ridiculous list has issued an apology that has to do with the MGMT ranking.  Although I didn’t want to draw any attention to the piece, I find it humorous that the guy basically got some death threats and then issued the above statement.
