2. lofichick: On August 7, 2011 MGMT fans finally laid their eyes on the much anticipated footage of Andrew surfing.  The video was taken at Huntington Beach as Andrew surfed before MGMT’s performance at the US Open of Surf on August 6, 2011.   Andrew talked about his first experience surfing at Huntington Beach, “Yeah well I went out and just uh paddled straight into a barrel and then reformed double barrel…it’s really cool.”   Fans thought so too.  It was your # 8 Favorite Andrew Moment of 2011.
